This role ensures secure, reliable, and auditable processing across investment operations by monitoring platform health, managing technical integrations, supporting controlled deployments, and maintaining effective access and environment governance.

Working closely with Investment Management Operations, external custodians, counterparties, vendors, and SimCorp Support, this role plays a critical part in maintaining platform integrity, resolving integration and connectivity issues, supporting upgrades and releases, and enabling continuous improvement across operational workflows, automation, and service quality.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the stability, performance, capacity, and overall health of SimCorp Dimension environments, including development, testing, and production. Support environment management, system sizing, platform availability, and operational continuity.
  • Manage and monitor technical integrations between SimCorp and internal and external systems, including FIX, SFTP, DFS, APIs, trading platforms, custodians, counterparties, downstream reporting, and other data or service providers.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve communication server issues, connectivity failures, integration defects, file transmission issues, workflow breaks, and data pipeline disruptions impacting operational workflows.
  • Govern environment and deployment processes to ensure system configuration changes, updates, and enhancements are promoted in accordance with change management standards and operational controls.
  • Support system configuration changes, unit testing, deployment activities, data migrations, and environment setup to ensure updates are implemented accurately and with appropriate validation.
  • Monitor automated workflows, job scheduling, queues, and data processing activities. Adjust routing rules, schedules, and workflow configurations as operational processes evolve.
  • Implement and maintain user access controls, platform security policies, and related governance processes across SimCorp and connected platforms, ensuring appropriate access, segregation of duties, and auditability.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support SimCorp upgrades, environment maintenance, technical releases, and platform improvements in partnership with internal Technology teams, SimCorp Support, and other vendors.
  • Partner with Investment Management Operations teams to resolve operational issues, coordinate system or configuration changes, and support evolving business needs.
  • Work with custodians, counterparties, trading platforms, SimCorp Support, technology vendors, and external data or service providers to resolve file delivery, connectivity, platform compatibility, and technical integration issues.
  • Identify and implement improvements to integration reliability, workflow automation, monitoring, and operational support processes to enhance platform performance and service quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience administering, supporting, or governing enterprise investment management platforms; direct experience with and strong understanding of SimCorp Dimension required.
  • Strong understanding of platform administration, environment management, configuration management, and controlled deployment practices.
  • Experience supporting technical integrations, data feeds, file-based interfaces, APIs, SFTP, FIX connectivity, or other system-to-system communication protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot connectivity failures, integration defects, communication server issues, data pipeline disruptions, and automated workflow failures.
  • Experience working within change management, incident management, release management, and environment governance processes.
  • Familiarity with user access management, security controls, auditability, and system administration best practices.
  • General knowledge of investment operations workflows, including trading, settlement, reconciliation, corporate actions, portfolio management, and reporting, is an asset.
  • Strong communication, documentation, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal business and technology teams, external vendors, custodians, counterparties, and platform support providers.
