Summary of Role:

The inevitable transition from electrons to photons for high-speed communications and computing is transforming the semiconductor industry. Silicon Photonics is a dynamic and rapidly growing market that GlobalFoundries has committed to invest in.

The Silicon Photonics Product Line is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our team and lead the marketing efforts for our silicon photonics product line. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product marketing, an understanding of silicon photonics technology, and a proven track record of successfully launching and promoting high-tech products.
 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our silicon photonics technology to grow the design win funnel.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Ensure successful product launches in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, sales, and customer support, to ensure alignment and full stakeholder alignment.
  • Determine value-based pricing that addresses the multiple end markets that silicon photonics can address in collaboration with product management, sales, and pricing team.
  • Create compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with target customers.
  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, and events, to drive product awareness and demand.
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide training, sales tools, and support to help them effectively sell the silicon photonics products.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry influencers, partners, and customers.

Other Responsibilities:

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the high-tech or semiconductor industry.
  • Working understanding of silicon photonics technology and its applications.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and promoting high-tech products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Travel Requirements:  25%-40% of travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with digital marketing and content creation.
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry and market trends.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Expected Salary Range

$107,400.00 - $231,600.00
