The Role
XTX is looking to expand its Silicon Team in Bristol. We are a small and dynamic team where all members are able, or may be required, to get involved in any aspect of the chip design process. With this role, we are looking to expand with a focus on physical design. This is a self-starting role where the candidate should be able to bring up from scratch a full physical design flow and make decisions about design methodology.
Responsibilities
• Flow development.
• Methodology.
• Floorplanning.
• Block and Top Level Build.
• IP selection and integration.
• Work closely with other silicon members to co-design optimal PPA.
Essential Attributes
• Deep familiarity with all aspects of taking RTL through to production silicon.
• Advanced process nodes. (Finfet and beyond).
• Strong programming skills. (Ideally Python and TCL).
• You should be comfortable working autonomously, owning significant projects from ideation to completion.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to expand your skill set.
