- Develops custom layout design for Assembly Test Chip and/or Intel's EMIB (Embedded Multi-die Interconnect Bridge) die.
- Work with the customers and electrical engineers for signal integrity and power delivery to define the SDRD (Silicon Design Requirement Documents).
- Create the bump pattern and placement based on the inputs provided while complying to design rule requirement.
- Perform signal routing planning, power grid placement and optimization to meet the electrical and manufacturing requirements.
- Provides feedback to customers/stakeholders for new feature feasibility studies and implements enhancement requests.
- Conducts various layout verifications such as routing check, connectivity, DRC (Design Rule Check), Electromigration, ESD etc before tape-in.
- Troubleshoots a wide variety of issues up to and including design and tool/flow/methodology issues used for layout design.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or in a STEM related field of study.
- Less than 2 years' experience in EDA tools from Synopsis, Cadence or Siemens. If possible, have experience with Cadence's Virtuoso and/or Siemen's Xpedition Substrate Integrator. Fresh graduates with relevant tools' exposure are also welcome to apply.
- Knowledgeable in programming languages such as Python, Perl, Linux and/or SKILL.
- Good knowledge in electrical field theories and electronic fundamentals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
