The Multi Domain Solutions Division at Leidos has an opening for a Signals Intelligence Analyst at our customer location in Alice Springs, Australia. The successful candidate has strong analytical skills and is a problem solver. The candidate will be required to understand collections, platform capabilities, signal processing dataflows, and analytic methodologies.
This position is a 12-hour rotating shift working days, nights, weekends and holidays aligned with the operations shift schedule.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze signals in digital domains to determine structure, parameters, content, and purpose
- Coordinate and collaborate with teammates, customers, and external stake holders to ensure timely and accurate signals processing
- Build mission-oriented situational awareness products in response to Intelligence Community requirements
- Use complex software to accomplish tasks to protect national assets in a multi-INT environment
- Disseminate data in the community standard format to the appropriate customers in the timeframe defined by the customer
- Create processing models and scripts to report technical characteristics
- Search for new and unusual signal activity associated with events and forward this information to the designated community entities as necessary
- Perform efficiently under dynamic conditions and navigate continually evolving priorities
- facilitate reliable and consistent mission application in a complex operational environment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions

- Candidates and eligible dependents must undergo basic medical and remote psychological examinations prior to being approved for this position
- Candidates and eligible dependents must satisfy requirements for applicable host nation visa
- Enrollment into the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
- This position is a two-year assignment, with potential for subsequent assignments, based on performance and behavior
Basic Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience in digital signals collection, real-time operations, or signals analysis or a Masters degree with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience
- Active and Current TS/SCI with Poly and U.S. Citizenship
- Proven experience and proficiency with one or more signals intelligence disciplines and technical understanding of signal characteristics
- Knowledge or experience performing satellite mission support in a real-time or near-real time operations environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and constructively with leaders across the site
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in multiple types of signals intelligence collection or technical work at customer sites
- Experience with specialized IC signals tasking, collection, exploitation, analysis, and mapping tools
- Knowledge of mission-specific customer requirements and intelligence oversight policies
- Experience at customer location in Australia
