Title: SIEM Engineer

Location: Frisco, TX (Hybrid)

*Must be in office 3 days a week*

Key Responsibilities:

AWS Server Administration:

• Design, Engineer and manage AWS Cloud for Splunk and Cribl.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot AWS Cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and other maintenance activities for cloud systems.

Splunk Administration:

• Design, Engineer and manage Splunk applications.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Splunk applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and other maintenance activities for Splunk systems.

Cribl Administration:

• Design, Engineer and manage Cribl applications.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cribl applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and other maintenance activities for Cribl systems.

Security Administration:

• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure robust security measures and compliance with industry standards.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and IT support staff.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud configurations, procedures, and processes.
• Generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Administrating Splunk and Cribl.

Key Competencies:

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
