Job Description
Join the SIDM sales team to help grow our Latin America structured investments franchise. Our team works to innovate new payoffs and products in conjunction with our trading and structuring team for custom client requirements.
As an Associate on our SIDM Latam Sales team, you will be expected to model, price, and execute cross asset structured investment derivative transactions for clients.
Job responsibilities:

  • Model, price, and execute cross-asset structured investment transactions for clients
  • Market proprietary investable indices, which invest based on quant signals and factors
  • Undertake client calls around structured products across asset classes based on client goals, suitability, and market outlook
  • Create client content featuring trade ideas and commentary for tactical market opportunities
  • Engage in analysis and communication with derivative trading desks across asset classes on appropriate risk and clearing levels
  • Package and securitize structured note products for distribution by U.S. broker-dealers covering Latin America high net worth clients, along with partnering with local salespeople to execute transactions with offshore distributor and institutional accounts
  • Manage development of initiatives to expand our existing client base and client penetration
  • Innovate new payoffs and products in conjunction with trading and structuring teams across asset classes for custom client requirements


Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer & Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or related field of study
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Working knowledge of derivatives (e.g. indices, futures, and options)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills


Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • 2+ years of experience in SIDM or Derivatives Sales, Cross Asset Structuring, or related occupation
  • Structured modeling experience of complex option strategies payoffs
  • Familiar with securitization process for US registered and offshore private placement issuance
  • Understanding of investable algorithmic trading strategies and their relevant distribution channels
