Job Description:

Schedule: rotating 8 hour shifts, 40-48 hours/week, mostly days & afternoons (some nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate as a member of the Logistics team, primarily in shunting operations.
• Operate an AZ tractor locally and within the Greater Hamilton Area as needed.
• Comply with all Highway Traffic Act rules and regulations.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner while interacting with the public.
• Demonstrate respect and professionalism at all times.
• Understand equipment weights and load capacities.
• Work flexible hours, including early starts, late finishes, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Safely load and unload trailers, following all carrier and Ministry of Transportation regulations.
• Follow all food safety and handling requirements.
• Work independently while managing tasks and prioritizing effectively.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as an AZ truck driver hauling freight (up to 75,000 lbs).
• Clean driver’s abstract.
• Certified forklift operator (recertification available if necessary).
