Shunter

• Open and close trailer and container doors;
• Handle security seals;
• Increased communication with Operations Technician;
• Responsible for trailer and container inventory;
• Responsible for truck management (daily inspection);
• Works in conjunction with the Snow Removal Operator;
• Depending on needs and requests, the candidate will also be required to drive trailers. 
• Other related duties.

Schedule:
Day shifts

• Tuesday to Saturday, 5am-3pm
• Friday to Monday
• Rotation 4 days on - 4 days off

Requirements:

• Class 3 driver's license
• Class 1 driver's license (an asset)
• Good driving record
• Good physical condition
• Experience in a similar position
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Sensitivity to the importance of Occupational Health and Safety.
• Due to current CT-PAT policy, the successful candidate will be subject to a background check.
