What are we looking for?We are looking for a full-time UI Shopify Developer to join our team! You will work with our developers, designers and clients across the globe to support their visions for their products and services.
We are looking for an individual to join one of our client teams. We need a professional, detail-oriented team player with the ability to accomplish results as a team leader and as an individual contributor managing multiple projects in a fast paced environment. All of our developers are client-facing; therefore, we want you to be comfortable communicating your thoughts and ideas to clients on a regular basis.

- Work collaboratively with designers, researchers, project managers, quality analysts, and other developers to plan and implement interactive experiences for agency work.
- Think through project challenges to provide recommendations and out of the box solutions.
- Lead technology discussions for client interactions.
- Research and evaluate new technologies that may improve performance and the elegance of how we work.
- Solid experience (3+ years minimum) in UI or Frontend Development with a proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and JAVASCRIPT
- Experience working with clients to gauge expectations. Ability to translate brief to actionable work, execute against requirements, and demo work while adhering to feedback from client to deliverable
- Ability to own sprint tasks and burn down
- Solid experience in developing CSS3 styles straight and through SASS. Deep knowledge of SASS features and how it works, strongly desired.
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
- Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as VueJs and ReactJS
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills with the DOM.
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Experience using GIT as a version control system with a team.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them.
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
Familiarity with tools such as Sketch or Photoshop. - Familiarity developing on Shopify
- High-level communication skills, being able to communicate complex technical concepts and ideas for non-technical audiences
- Exposure to GraphQL in client or server environments
- Full-stack experience with languages such as JavaScript, PHP, Lambdas
- Experience working with AWS cloud platform services such as S3, CloudFront, and Lambda
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL
- Ability to quickly learn a wide range of languages and tools
- Experience working at a professional services company such as a marketing agency or consulting firm
- Experience managing complex web development projects
- Experience working in the eCommerce industry
- Experience with Shopify+ platform
