About the role
We are seeking a talented Shopify Frontend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Shopify’s ecosystem, including Liquid templates, Shopify APIs, and modern frontend technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Shopify storefronts, ensuring high performance and seamless user experiences.
Accountabilities
- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Optimize Shopify store performance for speed and responsiveness.
- Integrate third-party apps and APIs to enhance store functionality.
- Implement UI/UX best practices for improved customer experience.
- Work closely with designers and backend developers to implement store features.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues related to Shopify storefronts.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify’s latest features, updates, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid templating language.
- Strong experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with Shopify APIs and Shopify Plus features.
- Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience working with JSON, REST APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Nice-to-Have skills:
- Experience with frameworks like React.
- Knowledge of headless commerce solutions with Shopify.
- Understanding of SEO best practices.
- Experience working with version control systems (Git).
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 3+ years of Shopify development experience.
- Proficient in both English and Vietnamese
