Job Title: Frontend React/Next.js Developer

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Frontend Developer (React/Next.js) to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building modern, scalable web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Material UI. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality frontend experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop responsive and high-performance web applications using React and Next.js
• Write clean, maintainable code using TypeScript and JavaScript
• Implement UI components and design systems using Material UI
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and SEO (Next.js)
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture decisions
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across browsers and devices
Must-Have Skills:
• 5 – 8 years of experience in frontend development
• Strong proficiency in React.js and Next.js
• Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands-on experience with Material UI or similar component libraries
• Deep understanding of responsive design, web performance, and accessibility
• Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and Agile development practices
• Communication skills
Nice to Have (Optional):
• Experience with SSR and SSG using Next.js
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress
• Experience working with CMS or headless systems (e.g., Contentful, Strapi)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment Azure.
