The Sheet Metal Fabricator II position for Pall Aeropower Corporation is responsible for producing components and custom fabrications to blueprint and work instruction specifications.
This position is part of the Fabrication department and will be located in New Port Richey, FL. Our mission is to solve our customers' biggest filtration, separation, and purification challenges. And, in doing so, advance health, safety and environmentally responsible technologies.
First Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (Overtime is routine)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Setup machinery related to the area (shear, deburring equipment, brake press, etc.) and perform preventative maintenance as required
Produce, measure, and fabricate complex parts to ensure compliance to blueprint and work instruction specifications using various hand and power tools
Operate shear, deburring equipment, brake press, etc.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School diploma or local equivalent (i.e., GED) and two years of precision sheet metal fabrication experience
Understand and use all measuring equipment (calipers, height gauge, etc.)
Proficient with shop math
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Utilizing computer/computer applications to access work instructions.
Aerospace sheet metal fabrication experience
Other requirements:
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.
