Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Manufacturing SHE Intern to join our team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced safety professionals in FMCG manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of safety protocols, procedures, and training programs.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting regular safety inspections of manufacturing facilities to identify and address potential hazards
- Collaborate with the safety team to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations
- Participate in the development and delivery of safety training programs for manufacturing employees
- Contribute to the investigation of accidents and incidents, analyzing root causes and recommending corrective actions
- Support the maintenance of safety records, reports, and documentation
- Work with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and awareness
- Assist in the creation and updating of safety policies and procedures
- Contribute to the planning and execution of emergency response drills
Candidate Criteria
Skill & Qualification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to promoting a safe work environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Education & Experience
- Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Knowledge of occupational safety regulations and industry best practice
- Previous coursework or experience in manufacturing safety is a plus
