Title: Sharepoint Developer
Reports To: Director, IT Services
Location: Remote (In person meetings as needed)
Role overview:
We are looking for a unique individual contributor to take our SharePoint to the next level. Beyond the normal SharePoint work, this implementation is looking for creative ways and methods to deal with internal and hundreds of external clients. As a financial service organization that is based on file sharing and collaboration, this role is to work across divisional boundaries in establishing the roadmap to the future.
This will not be a job that is centered within a technology team, rather this person needs to enjoy working with business teams in mapping the future. You will be the direct representative in end user discussions, planning and implementation. You will be developing the project plans, working with leadership to establish priorities, reviewing new software and providing SharePoint ownership on a daily basis.
And your SharePoint experience is foundational to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Build template sites that each contain 80+ lists/libraries, some lists with custom forms, workflows, security, etc.
- Build standardized Dashboards and Workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform
- Write JavaScript and PowerShell (incl. PnP) scripts that automate tasks (e.g.: the creation of new Playbooks based on a template and project specific data).
- Familiar with SQL server and implementations
- Work on enhancing a comprehensive SharePoint security framework to allow for secure internal and external collaboration.
- Provide tier-two support for Playbooks in production on client programs (e.g.: fix broken Workflows, build custom KPI's, etc.).
- Research new and existing SharePoint apps and development tools to remain abreast of current and emerging technology and solutions.
- Research and implement best practices that will provide higher quality, and/or increase predictability of service delivery and user experience.
- Responsible for ensuring quality and consistency of the software architecture across the system and working day-to-day to provide technical guidance.
- Self-manage project management, planning and documentation.
Required Experience & Skills:
- SharePoint Business Analyst: 5-7 years,
- Power Automate: 3-5 years,
- Power BI: 3-5 years,
- JavaScript development (3-5 years),
- PowerShell & PnP: 1-3 years.
- SharePoint Site Collection Administrator: 1-3 years.
- Project Leadership and User requirements gathering: 2 – 5 years
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work remote with minimal supervision and comfortable with regular scheduled deliverables.
Salary range: $85,000 - $110,000
