ON.energy is building the power infrastructure that makes the AI era possible. As AI demand surges past what the grid and traditional data centers can support, ON.energy provides a new class of power technology proven at gigawatt scale and trusted by the world’s leading cloud and AI companies. Our systems are already deployed across 2.5 GW of hyper-scale campuses, validated by top U.S. national labs, and certified for grid-safe operation by major utilities. With real products in the field, we’re scaling faster than the grid can, transforming power from a bottleneck into a competitive advantage for the companies building the future.

We’re looking for an Application Support Specialist to help our teams build durable, well-governed solutions using Microsoft SharePoint and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate). This role is equal parts technical advisor, governance champion, and customer-facing support partner. You’ll provide platform guidance, troubleshoot and improve existing solutions, and coach business units to create and maintain their own SharePoint sites and lightweight apps.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Translate governance requirements into practical guidance (e.g., site provisioning patterns, naming conventions, permission models, retention considerations, and content ownership).
  • Create and maintain standards, documentation, and reusable assets (templates, checklists, site request/intake forms).
  • Consult with stakeholders to understand needs and recommend the right approach (SharePoint site, list/library solution, Power App, or workflow).
  • Guide departments through building and configuring their own sites (structure, navigation, page design, metadata, permissions), while promoting best practices.
  • Provide training and office-hours style support to increase platform adoption and capability across teams) Manage, execute, and follow up on tasks through to completion and closure.
  • Support and build lightweight solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate tied to SharePoint data sources) Maintain confidentiality and safeguard all personal data belonging to users and corporate data belonging to On.Energy.
  • Provide tier-2/3 support for SharePoint/Power Platform issues (permissions, access, broken flows, list/library issues, site configuration).

Requirements

Essential:
▪ IT professional with at least 3 years of experience in the area.
▪ Strong willingness to record and document tasks, events, and incidents.
▪ Strong understanding of SharePoint administration and governance, including permissions, site architecture, content management patterns, and lifecycle practices.
▪ Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate (creating, troubleshooting, and improving solutions).
▪ Ability to translate business needs into practical, maintainable platform solutions.
▪ Strong customer service mindset; comfortable guiding non-technical users and setting clear boundaries.
▪ Experience creating SharePoint site templates, information architecture guidance, or enablement programs.
▪ Experience working remotely.

Preferred:
▪ Experience with Microsoft 365 governance concepts (e.g., Teams/SharePoint integration considerations, information protection, retention basics).
▪ Familiarity with Power Platform ALM concepts (solutions, environments, basic change control).
▪ Microsoft certifications (preferred, not required): SharePoint/M365, Power Platform, or related.
▪ Experience with Agile Methodologies.

Skills

•    Coaching/enablement mindset: you build capability in others rather than taking ownership away.
•    Practical governance approach: balances standards with usability and adoption.
•    Organized and process-oriented; able to manage multiple requests and priorities.
