The Role
we are seeking a skilled SharePoint Administrator to manage and maintain our SharePoint Online and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless collaboration, document management, and efficient use of SharePoint services across the organization. You will be responsible for configuring sites, managing permissions, troubleshooting issues, and supporting users to maximize productivity and security.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain SharePoint Online and on-premises SharePoint environments, including site collections, sites, libraries, and lists.
Configure and manage SharePoint permissions, security settings, and compliance policies to safeguard organizational data.
Create, modify, and manage SharePoint sites such as team sites, communication sites, and hub sites to support business needs.
Manage site structure, navigation, storage quotas, and lifecycle, including archiving or deleting obsolete sites.
Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues related to performance, access, workflows, and integrations.
Develop and maintain workflows, forms, and automation using SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
Perform regular maintenance tasks including backups, updates, patching, and version upgrades.
Monitor usage and activity reports to optimize user experience and system performance.
Integrate SharePoint Online with other Microsoft 365 services to enhance collaboration and productivity.
Provide technical support and training to end users and stakeholders.
Use PowerShell scripting for automation, administration, and bulk operations.
Stay current with SharePoint developments, best practices, and security standards.

Required Technical and Professional Experience
- 5 + years of experience in SharePoint Administration
- Experience in Installing, Configuring and managing any SharePoint Server OnPrem versions like 2013\2016\2019
- Experience with O365 SharePoint Online and Power Platform technologies like Power Apps, Power Automate & PowerBI
- Basic knowledge in AD , MS-SQL , IIS & PowerShell SharePoint Management module
- Hands on Experience with Backup and restore of SharePoint content databases or any SharePoint backup tool
- Experience in SharePoint patching and configuration wizard
- Experience with SharePoint version upgrades and online migration with tools like Sharegate
- Experience with designing the farm topology and integrating with other applications
- Work with the vendor on high priority ticket or new feature implementation
- Work with customer teams to solution end user requirements with SharePoint sites
- Experience with SharePoint Online
- Experience in implementing best practices and Solutions for SharePoint infrastructure.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other highly technical, scientific discipline.
- Experience in Incident, Problem and Change Management
- Good communication skills and customer management
- Knowledge in Automation, Microsoft O365 and Active Directory
