Description
Shakes machine produced product in a sheet metal production shop for HVAC equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES NOT LIMITED TO:
- Works as part of a production team to shake pre-cut metal parts.
- Organizes parts by type.
- Dispose scrap metal in an appropriate container.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be friendly, courteous, service-oriented, and flexible and enjoy working with a variety of staff.
- Must be detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision; work well under pressure; able to manage multiple projects.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:
- Continually required to stand
- Frequently required to walk
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
- Frequently required to talk or hear
- Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
- Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items to 50 pounds
- Frequently work near moving mechanical parts
- Frequently work in high, precarious places
- Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions
- Frequently exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather)
- Continually loud noise
