The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) & Data Analytics Specialist to join our Sales team in Malaysia.
Reporting to the Customer Marketing Manager, The SFE & Data Analytics Specialist will play a critical role in driving commercial effectiveness through data-driven insights and performance management. The role is responsible for Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE), reporting, and analytics to support business decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and enhance field force productivity. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Medical, and Finance to ensure alignment and execution of commercial strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)
- Provide analytical support to commercial teams to optimize field effectiveness.
- Manage and monitor territory alignment and call planning, ensuring efficient coverage.
- Develop incentive compensation schemes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Administer CRM and content platform, ensuring seamless operation and feature rollouts
- Train sales teams on CRM usage, SFE tools, and data interpretation.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Deliver timely and accurate sales reports, dashboards, and business reviews to management and sales teams.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis (IQVIA, sales, CRM, market data) to generate actionable insights.
- Support trend analysis, and performance tracking for channel and brands.
- Provide analytical support for strategic planning, product launches, and business reviews.
About You:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience. Prior working experience in SFE, Commercial Analytics, or Business Intelligence within the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry will be added advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; experience with Veeva CRM and BI tools highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
- Possess ability to utilize systems to aid in data extraction and analysis

- Proactive and solution-oriented, able to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to simplify complex analyses for business stakeholders.
