The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for an SFE Analytics Data Analyst to join our Sales team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract basis.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, core focus of the role is to interpret data and transform it into meaningful insights that drive business improvement and inform key decisions. The Data Analyst gathers information from various sources, identifies patterns and trends, and provides analytical insights to support strategic initiatives. Once the data has been compiled and analyzed, the Data Analyst presents the findings in a clear, comprehensive report to the wider business and relevant stakeholders.
Key accountabilities and performance indicators include:
- Collect, interpret, and analyze data from various sources; identify patterns, trends, and insights to support business needs and decision‑making.
- Report findings to relevant stakeholders and collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Management) to define requirements and improve data quality, processes, and systems.
- Develop and implement new data collection and analysis processes; compile data and track A&P expenses; support IT systems and portals (e.g., Veeva CRM, ZipOnline, EzRx).
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external trade partners across Modern Trade (MT) and General Trade (GT).
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or IT (minimum diploma).
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Able to work with minimal supervision, meet deadlines, and perform routine tasks.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficient in Commerce Excellence and Salesforce data analysis; knowledge of Veeva Salesforce system is an advantage.
