Job Purpose
We are seeking a Salesforce PWA Kit Developer to build and maintain headless e-commerce storefronts powered by Salesforce Commerce Cloud. You will develop scalable, high-performance Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) using modern React-based architecture while integrating with Commerce Cloud APIs.
You will work closely with UX/UI, backend engineers, and architects to deliver fast, SEO-optimized, mobile-first commerce experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- The Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Full Stack Developer drives the development, and operation of the systems that power our headless commerce storefronts.
- Design, build and extend SFCC backend (OCAPI, SCAPI) endpoints to expose product, catalog, cart, checkout and customer data as RESTful endpoints tailored for PWA frontends.
- Develop and maintain headless storefronts using PWA Kit and React (other frontend technologies is a Plus).
- Integrate with Salesforce Commerce Cloud via SCAPI (Shopper APIs)
- Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and client-side hydration.
- Build reusable React components and scalable frontend architecture.
- Optimize performance, Core Web Vitals, and SEO for PWA storefronts.
- Implement state management and data fetching strategies.
- Integrate third-party services (payments, search, CMS, personalization).
- Actively participate in daily project team meetings and brainstorming activities related to the project issues.
- Provide updates to effort estimates and status of assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with the team on service-worker integration, API caching layers (CDN, Redis) and preload strategies to meet PWA performance and offline requirements.
- Conduct code reviews, refactor legacy cartridges into modular services.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years web development using modern JavaScript (ES6+), with strong OOP and modular design principles
- 2+ years SFCC experience, including building or migrating to headless/OCAPI-driven architectures (beyond bug fixes)
- Design, build and extend OCAPI/SCAPI hooks.
- Proficient with SFCC ecosystem knowledge and deep knowledge of Commerce Cloud data models.
- Design patterns: factory, observer, decorator and other best practices for high-scale commerce systems
- Deep understanding of Payment, Shipping and external cartridge integration.
- Solid understanding of SFCC Jobs and able to facilitate them optimizing performance.
- Experience with working on complex functional software projects that require a deep understanding of the application logic and dependencies.
- Understanding of JSON, CSV, XML files formats.
- Experience integrating with other systems through REST or SOAP.
- Experience with PWA concepts like service workers, App Shell, caching strategies, and offline data sync.
- Experience with any VCS (Git is preferred).
- Experience with Managed Runtime, TypeScript, micro-frontend architecture.
- A strong teamwork ethic is essential along with extensive exposure working with diversified team spread across geographical locations
- Strong consulting background with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Certification: Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer

- Multi-site / multi-region commerce implementations.
- Experience integrating CMS platforms (Contentful, AEM, etc.).

Skills Required
- Minimum 3 years professional web development experience, with at least 2 years focused on SFCC
- Deep knowledge of native JavaScript, object-oriented programming, and modularity principles
- Extensive experience with the SFCC ecosystem and complex application logic
