How You Will Make a Difference:

As an EAP counsellor, you will provide in-person, video or/and Telephone counselling services to TELUS Health's EAP clients in your area. You will be working as an independent contractor based on your ability to accept new clients.  

  • You will provide short-term counselling to a diverse set of clients dealing with various issues, within the terms and conditions of the client’s EAP; 

  • You manage a varied workload, adapted to different types of clients and consultation reasons.

What you bring:

  • A master’s of sexology;

  • Fully registered with the ''Ordre professionnel des sexologues du Québec'' and hold a valid professional liability insurance;

  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience;

  • Post-graduate counselling experience with multiple populations; 

  • The ability to set short term objectives and use a solution focused approach; 

  • The ability to clinically manage high-risk cases, including clients who are a threat to self or others.
