What you will do:
The Setup Specialist serves as a material breakdown on inbound shipments for single parts packaging to prepare for production by verifying part numbers and quantities, sorting the shipment, determining/retrieving packaging materials, investigate discrepancies, and ensure parts are ready to be packaged in production.
Some key responsibilities for Setup Specialists:
- Perform inspections by verifying part number and quantity
- Using customer prints/specification if necessary
- Determining packaging material
- Provide secure and proper packaging for materials
- Update packaging specifications
- Retrieve packaging material
- Investigating discrepancies in a timely manner
- Print product and pallet labels
- Build a first piece sample
