Description

The Settlement Analyst is responsible for assigning payments to drivers (Independent Contractors or Employees) for completing a customer order. This role provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The position will be responsible for processing daily billing for assigned customers and either assist with or perform payroll functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and enter driver settlement pay items accurately and timely.
  • Process and maintain referral and sign-on bonuses for drivers, as well as other miscellaneous deductions.
  • Prepare terminal manager approvals for driver settlements.
  • Import pay information into TMW for driver settlements.
  • Run various audits to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform daily fuel imports and audits to maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure accurate results and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Research and resolve any pay issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
  • Assist with or perform payroll functions as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the current manager.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proven payroll experience, preferably in a Transportation or Logistics environment.
  • Ability to learn and use multiple systems, with TMW experience being a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
