JOB DESCRIPTION:
This job works with Engineering and/or Production personnel to resolve problems with design and/or fabrication of systems utilizing pneumatics, hydraulics, loading arms, tracking systems, and any other such system components necessary to provide solutions for our clients’ needs. This position is responsible for working at a pace that continually keeps work moving through the system and ensures the promised ship dates are met while using knowledge of past projects to problem solve issues, assist others in problem solving, and train new employees to be proficient in their respective positions. Effectively communicate with employees and supervisors to ensure production goals and quality standards are met on a continual basis from one product to the next. This position is responsible for properly adhering to Company policies and complying with required standards for work orders and labor laws within the department on a continual basis from one project to the next and one employee to the next.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work in the natural element of heat and cold (production facility is not heated in winter nor cooled in summer)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work scheduled shifts
- Ability to bend, stoop, sit, grasp with hands, feel texture with fingers, cling, walk, twist, stand, and work on concrete for up to twelve hours per day up to six (6) days per week
- Must be able to work at heights of greater than 6 feet on a regular basis/as work dictates
- Ability to work overtime when necessary/required and with short notice
- Ability to work in all weather conditions as job requires working inside and outside through the course of a single shift
- Ability to work in the natural element of heat and cold (production facility is not heated in winter nor cooled in summer)
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Proficient with the use of hand and power tools
- Efficiently and accurately read job file orders and enter data into the tracking system
- Punctual
- Effectively follow directions
- Accurately read a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch
- Effectively work from the supervisor and team leader’s direction
- Organize and keep up with all paperwork related to the jobs worked on coming through the system
- 3-5 years’ experience preferred with emphasis on structural and mechanical assembly
- Knowledge of Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical
- Simple foundation and concrete experience
- Familiar with equipment layout drawings, schematics, and piping drawings
- Knowledge of industry standards and requirements including local, State, Federal laws and guidelines
- Ability to travel (via airplane as necessary per position) as position requires

- Ability to work at heights greater than six feet
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in hot and cold conditions
