Job Description Description: The Services Training Manager will be responsible for owning all resources and aspects to design, develop & deliver high-quality training to Indian Railway customers and Wabtec India employees for Diesel-electric locomotive systems. He should have strong knowledge & command over various Mechanical & Electrical systems, sub-systems of locomotive like the Locomotive Propulsion system, Air brake system, Control systems, and a basic understanding of railroad operation & Maintenance practices (RMs). Key responsibilities include:
•Support the mission of the training department to develop and deliver high-qualitytraining to meet requirements for our India Railway customer and Wabtec serviceteams, supporting service growth.
•Maintain training schedules as per the company training requirement, goals and budget.
•Owning all deliverables of the training department
•Enhance training programs as needed, tracking/reporting on completed courses, whileensuring high utilization of training schedules.
•Work with sourcing & other departments for the procurement required tooling andtraining aids.
•Directly participate & supportive in developing training curriculum and deliveringtraining, as required to customers and Wabtec service personnel.
•Strong oral and written communication skills, Conduct the various quizzes, exams, teststo evaluate the trainee’s performance, collecting the feedbacks and upload the data intothe company’s prescribed data base.
•Work with interdepartmental assignments as and when required.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in technical discipline (Mechanical/Electrical / ElectronicEngineering)
•Min 12 years of experience in Locomotive maintenance/Technical Training. Workingexperience with the training department will be the added advantage for this position.
