POSITION SUMMARY

Manage and contribute to a range of responsibilities including developing the Services strategy, conducting research and data analysis, creating summaries and presentations to effectively communicate results and recommendations, modeling market and financial data, and completing other projects as assigned.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engaged with key stakeholders in Services and Regional Strategy & Planning, Marketing, Sales, Product Lines, Finance, and other functions to establish foundational networks and execute high visibility projects that support the Company's top initiatives.
  • Support the Services staff and the business units to develop the Services strategy.  This will include the synthesizing of multiple data points and rolling up individual business plans to create a cohesive and consistent Services strategy.
  • Implement a consistent way to monitor and track progress against the strategy and targets.
  • In conjunction with Services Finance, refine and implement financials models for strategic and annual planning horizons, and strategic investment reviews.
  • Work cross functionally to understand company capabilities and how these capabilities can be used to solve additional customer needs.
  • Conduct and analyze market research, evaluate competitors including strategies, tactics and pricing, and establish measures for effectiveness. 
  • Identify, track and evaluate market and technology trends and disruption opportunities. Packaging these trends with data for senior level distribution.
  • Continuously refine the market model to capture the market size and growth rates by sub-segment. 
  • Conduct market assessments, growth rates, and go to market plans.
  • Identify, track, synthesize and distribute key economic and market data.
  • In conjunction with Services M&A and Finance functions, complete M&A financial modeling, valuation inputs and due diligence support.
  • Assist the Services Strategy & Planning Director in several management cadence functions including participating in some monthly / quarterly business reviews, developing key strategic metrics, being the focal point to several scorecard metrics and providing support for Board of Directors meeting preparation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of strategy, financial modeling and/or transformation experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities with broad business acumen. 
  • Well-developed leadership practices and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and high energy style.
  • Experience identifying both organic and inorganic opportunities. Awareness in formulating acquisition strategy and screening potential targets. 
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly present a detailed market understanding to internal and external customers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering.  MBA degree preferred.
