Job Summary
The Services Solution Architect for AV and Meeting Room Services shapes, scopes, and helps close services opportunities that make every meeting space work, from a single huddle room to a national rollout across hundreds of sites. This role combines the technical depth of a WWT Domain Architect with ownership of the full services solution. That means leading professional service customer discussions, building detailed work breakdown structures and bottom-up labor estimates, developing services pricing, and writing customer-ready Statements of Work. They bring deep knowledge of room design, audio, video, control systems, and networking, and hold credible conversations with everyone from engineers to executives.
SSAs work closely with sales, pre-sales, delivery, engineering, and integration partners to scope services that can be delivered as sold. They use AI tools to move quickly from first conversation to finished SOW. Through customer and sales presentations, they reduce solution risk, show the value of WWT services, and strengthen client relationships. Up to 25% travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run technical discovery with customers to understand room types and counts, meeting platforms, user experience goals, accessibility, security, network readiness, and facilities constraints
- Own the development of detailed work breakdown structures and bottom-up labor estimates by room type, site, resource role, and implementation activity, including surveys, engineering, staging, installation, programming, commissioning, project management, training, travel, and support. Translate those estimates into services pricing using labor rates, partner costs, expenses, and margin requirements. Validate the approach with delivery leaders and integration partners, and submit pricing through WWT’s pricing approval process
- Independently write complete, customer-ready SOWs covering scope, deliverables, milestones, assumptions, exclusions, customer responsibilities, and acceptance criteria for WWT, partner, and blended delivery models. Carry them through governance and quoting review, and defend the scope and estimate to sales, customers, and delivery
- Serve as a trusted advisor and technical authority for customers, turning business requirements into defined scope, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and a delivery approach
- Position and tailor WWT solutions and offerings that meet customer needs and WWT delivery standards
- Apply AI tools to speed up discovery summaries, room design outlines, estimates, SOW drafts, and customer materials, and validate every output for accuracy, scope, and risk before it reaches a customer
- Collaborate closely with WWT account teams and sales to qualify opportunities, shape strategy, and move deals forward
- Partner with delivery leaders, project managers, and engineers so that what WWT sells is what WWT can deliver, and stay engaged through handoff and project kickoff
- Bring in networking, security, cloud, collaboration, and other WWT practices, along with technology partners, OEMs, and AV integrators, to deliver complete end-to-end solutions
- Present solution proposals, workshops, and executive briefings to customers and sales teams, from facilities and IT teams to executives
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of AV and meeting room services offerings, including room standards, scoping guides, reusable estimating tools, productized solutions, multi-site deployment models, and Day 2 managed services, and support thought leadership in meeting room and AV services
