Overview:

As a Technology Services Portfolio Manager at Mitel, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our services portfolio. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing a portfolio of complex technology services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering exceptional value to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management:
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology services portfolio, including vision, strategy, roadmap, and financial plans.
    • Prioritize and allocate resources to maximize portfolio value and achieve business objectives.
    • Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
    • Conduct regular portfolio reviews with key stakeholders, including executive leadership and service delivery teams.
    • “Own” all portfolio lifecycle customer journeys and optimise customer experience across all stages
  • Service Delivery:
    • Oversee the delivery of technology services, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and customer value proposition.
    • Ensure Service delivery success by working with cross-functional teams to realize the best Service offering for the market.
    • Collaborate with service delivery teams to identify and resolve service delivery issues.
    • Continuously improve service delivery processes and methodologies.
  • Financial Management & Reporting:
    • Develop and manage the services portfolio lifecycle management budget, including forecasting, budgeting, and expense management.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource utilization.
    • Understand all underlying processes and tools in order to accelerate time-to market and enable sales and presales readiness in a structured and timely manner
  • Customer Relationship & Value Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and expectations.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Presales, Marketing and Channel partners to define the best G2M approach and support execution
    • Analyze the market and based on the competition define differentiation approaches that offer unique value to our customers
    • Prototype with customers and partners and facilitate innovation workshops for discovering customer requirements
    • Explore engagement and monetization models and help define and execute on the pricing strategy and the revenue model of your portfolio
  • Leadership/ Innovation:
    • Drive change in your portfolio domain taking advantage of the Mitel Product evolution.
    • Identify emerging trends and technologies that may impact the technology services portfolio and propose new innovative services that provide unique customer value.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Contribute to the development of the overall technology services strategy, aligning with the broader Mitel business and product strategy.
    • Develop and implement strategies to capitalize on new opportunities and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology services, optimally with a focus on portfolio management.
  • Proven track record of managing complex technology projects/ services and delivering results on Service management.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, COBIT, or other relevant frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
  • Rigorous and adaptable, with excellent team spirit and good communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with financial management and budgeting.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
