This is an on-site role based at our Ann Arbor, MI facility.
What you will accomplish together with us:
Provide exceptional customer care working in a small team environment
Perform diagnosis, repair, and calibrations of complex mechanical systems
Perform preventative maintenance and sterilization of systems
Perform software updates, upgrades, and re-images
Resolving IT, PC, and data issues related to system repair, with support
Complete incoming inspection of RMA, Warranty Exchanges, and Demo Systems
Perform preventative maintenance, sterilization, repairs, and calibrations of Sartorius equipment in a biosafety lab 2 environment
Process shipping and handling of service-related items
Keep an accurate record of inventory and service activities via our case management system
Produce timely, accurate, and detailed service reports
Follow all the company's procedures and protocols
Assist in drafting documentation of process and procedure as required
All other duties as assigned by management
Lift items that weigh up to 75 pounds
What will convince us:
Associate's degree or certifications in engineering or military training
2+ years proven field/depot service experience
Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment with excellent mechanical, electrical, and IT skills
Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field is valued
Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment is a plus
