JD for QA – ServiceNow Testing As a ServiceNow tester designs, develops, and executes comprehensive test plans (manual / automated) for ServiceNow implementations, focussing on modules like ITSM – Incident Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, Change Management & Service portal ensuring quality, managing defects, and leveraging tools like Automated Test Framework (ATF) to validate business requirements, often requiring scripting (Java script) and Agile skills, plus certifications like CSA. Key Responsibilities: Test Design & Execution: Perform Manual & Automation testing (Functional, regression, performance, integration) across various ServiceNow modules (ITSM & Custom Apps) Automation Development: Create, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using ServiceNow’s Automated Test Framework (ATF) Defect Management: Identify, track, manage & report defects, working with developers for timely resolution Reporting & Communication: Generate detailed test reports and communicate quality status to leadership and stakeholders Collaboration: Work closely with developers, BA’s, admins & clients in Agile/Scrum environments (sprints, stand-ups). Best Practices: Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, quality standards, and compliance. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: 3+ years in ServiceNow testing, with significant experience in ATF and relevant modules Technical skills: Proficiency in ATF, ITSM – Incident Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, Change Management, service portals and test/defect management tools Methodologies: Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and ITIL frameworks Tools: Hands on experience with ServiceNow ATF, performance analytics and dashboards Certifications: ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) are often preferred Soft Skills: Excellent Analytical, problem – solving, communication (written / verbal) and stakeholder management skills
