What you’ll achieve

You will play a pivotal role in enhancing user experience by optimizing ServiceNow search functionalities and leveraging analytics to provide actionable insights.  Provide guidance and training to end users on how to effectively utilize ServiceNow search capabilities to maximize productivity and contribute to the Dell-wide steering committee at an enterprise level to stay abreast and shape outcomes of key decisions, updates and upcoming capabilities being considered for roll out.

You will:

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize ServiceNow search functionality for improved user experience and efficiency

• Conduct thorough analysis of search usage patterns, search results effectiveness, and user behavior using ServiceNow analytics tools

• Utilize search analytics data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and make recommendations to enhance search relevance and accuracy

• Collaborate with stakeholders, engagement managers, business analysts, and end users, to understand search requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Configure and customize ServiceNow search features, including search dictionaries, search sources, and search results formatting

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience

• 8 years+ proven experience in optimizing search functionalities within the ServiceNow platform

• Strong understanding of ServiceNow Service Portal, including Service Catalog and Content Management System (CMS)

• Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) for customization and configuration related to search optimization

• Experience with ServiceNow reporting and analytics tools ( (e.g., Performance Analytics, Reporting, Metrics, etc.). Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) principles and techniques

​Desirable Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus

Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $113,900.00 - $147,400.00
