The Opportunity:We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Scrum Master to join our team on a direct hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and extensive experience in managing ServiceNow projects. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure that the team is effectively delivering high-quality solutions that meet client needs. Your leadership will help cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and foster a collaborative environment for the team.
Job Responsibilities:- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Act as a servant leader to the Scrum team, providing mentorship and guidance to team members on Agile best practices.
- Collaborate with product owners to manage the product backlog and ensure clarity of user stories.
- Identify and remove obstacles impacting team progress and productivity.
- Monitor and report on team progress, performance metrics, and Agile process adherence to stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a technology environment, preferably with ServiceNow projects.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience with ServiceNow and its ITSM modules.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to facilitate discussions and decision-making.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification.
- Experience in coaching teams on Agile practices and principles.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Background in project management or related fields.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
