We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Platform Manager (m/f/d) in the international sports and entertainment environment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and continuous development of the ServiceNow platform. Combining operational excellence with strategic and architectural thinking, you will ensure seamless platform operations, technical governance, and long-term scalability.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to align the platform with business needs, optimise performance, and drive innovation. Your work will be central to maintaining a robust, secure, and future-ready ServiceNow environment that supports the company’s global IT service management strategy.
In this role, you´ll:- Ensure the stability, security, and usability of the ServiceNow platform across all environment
- Perform daily administration, monitoring, and maintenance to ensure smooth operations and performance
- Define and implement technical governance frameworks, standards, and best practices for sustainable platform growth
- Evaluate and translate business and technical requirements into practical, scalable ServiceNow solutions
- Plan, coordinate, and execute platform upgrades and integrations, ensuring compatibility and minimal disruption
- Manage user access, ACLs, and security policies to maintain data protection and compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify, analyse, and resolve incidents and ensure continuous service stability
- Partner with external ServiceNow implementation partners to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with the strategic roadmap
- Conduct incident and problem management, including documentation of root causes and preventive measures
- Drive optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform efficiency, performance, and user experience
- Identify and remediate configurations or developments that deviate from best practices
- Contribute to the design and rollout of an operating model that promotes user adoption and effective platform use
- Support technical evaluations and architectural decisions, ensuring alignment with governance and business strategy
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver enhancements that align with organisational goals
- Provide technical consulting and guidance to internal teams on ServiceNow capabilities and implementation best practices
- Strong technical foundation in the ServiceNow platform, ideally as an administrator or developer
- Several years of experience managing and developing large and complex systems in cloud-based environments
- Ability to analyse, design, and optimise technical architectures and translate requirements into solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders (English)
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
- High level of initiative, motivation, and accountability
- Consulting mindset with the ability to support and advise developers and stakeholders
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, and integration frameworks within ServiceNow is a plus
- Experience in developing and implementing architectural standards and governance processes is a plus
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g. Technical Architect, Mainline) or Project Management certification are considered a plus
