Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong hands‑on expertise in designing, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions for large‑scale enterprise environments. This is an Individual Contributor role requiring deep technical capability, problem‑solving skills, and collaboration with architects, business analysts, and cross‑functional delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities :
ServiceNow Development & Customization
Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Hands‑on development across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
- Build and maintain:
- Business Rules
- Client Scripts
- Script Includes
- UI Policies
- UI Actions
- ACLs (Access Controls)
Workflows & Portal Development
- Build workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.
- Configure and enhance Service Portal / Employee Center.
Integrations & Platform Support
- Implement integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
- Perform unit testing, defect fixing, and code optimization.
- Support platform upgrades, feature enhancements, and L3 production issues.
Governance & Best Practices
- Follow ServiceNow coding standards, platform best practices, and security guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with architects and product owners to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
Requirements
Required Experience :
Experience : 5 years to 12 years
Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow development.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting.
Solid understanding of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request).
Experience with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
Experience integrating ServiceNow using REST/SOAP.
Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience in GRC
Preferred Qualifications :
- ServiceNow certifications such as:
- CSA (Certified System Administrator)
- CAD (Certified Application Developer)
- Experience working in GCC or global delivery models.
- Exposure to Service Portal / Employee Center development.
- Good understanding of the Insurance domain.
