The RoleA ServiceNow Architect is responsible for providing high-level design and specifications for ServiceNow implementations. They lead development and implementation of ServiceNow applications in the area of ITSM, CSM, SPM, ITOM and other areas. They should have knowledge and experience of defining application and data architecture roadmaps for significant business / functional scopes. They oversee projects from an architecture design perspective through implementation. They provide leadership and advocacy, as well as providing hands-on support as needed and assisting in troubleshooting/problem-solving. They can help establish an enterprise-wide technical architecture and implementation strategy setting the foundation for lasting success.

Key Responsibilities- Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead / Participate in Client Workshops to gather business & technical requirements / user stories
- Consult customers and team members on industry and ServiceNow best practices
- Deliver on Scoped Application Development and integrations
- Configure / Build Application UI and Workflows
- Requirements & Analysis
- Collaborate and contribute to the creation, deployment, and maintenance of technical best practices and standards
- Adhere to ServiceNow development standards
- Delivery & Implementation Support
- Development of required integrations components (SSO, LDAP, REST/SOAP Web Services)
- Service Catalog structuring and Portal Development (Widget configurations)
- Creation and delivery of solutions for customers addressing requirements through technical architecture in consideration of process design and technical best practices and standards
- Follow SDLC best practices including those around proper testing and code documentation
- Follow the organization’s change management policy for all configuration changes, including vendor made changes
- Quality, Adoption & Documentation
- Ensure solution designs support usability, scalability, and long‑term maintainability.
- Develop and contribute to client‑facing documentation including process documentation, training materials, and release notes.
- Document solution and integration models as relevant for project and client teams to consume.
- Leverage NOW Create documentation to drive alignment with ServiceNow standards and best practices.
- Internal Contribution
- Contribute to the evolution of Nordic ServiceNow delivery standards, templates, and accelerators.
- Share knowledge and best practices within the ServiceNow communities of practice.
- Support practice leadership with estimation inputs, solution scoping, and pre‑sales discovery when needed.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and stack development objects (CMDB, Workflows, Scripting, ACLs, etc.
- Familiarity with modules like CSM, HCLS, ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, ITAM, and App Engine
- Familiarity with Service Bridge architecture
- Familiarity with Domain Separation architecture
- Understanding of JavaScript (Server-side and Client-side in ServiceNow)
- Glide API, Business Rule, Script Includes, UI Action, Client Scripts
- Integration skills (REST, SOAP, MID Server, Integration HUB)
- Generally, it requires a bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience, a master’s degree and 6 years of related experience, or 11 years of related experience and no degree.
- 7+ Year of Experience in the ServiceNow platform
- Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred
- Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification preferred
- Certified Master Architect (CMA) preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Leveraging generative AI to build and refine models is preferred
- Healthcare knowledge or knowledge of the ServiceNow HCLS and HCO products preferred
- Remote position
- Must be accessible and available to perform work functions at any time, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Travel up to 25% of the time
