The Senior ServiceNow Architect will lead the design and implementation of CMDB solutions, establish governance frameworks, and optimize ITOM modules for AI Infrastructure, ensuring technical standards are met.
Role Overview: The Senior ServiceNow Developer/Architect will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow CMDB solutions for the AI Inventory project. This role serves as the technical authority on ServiceNow platform architecture, CMDB data modeling, integration patterns, and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities• Design and architect the ServiceNow CMDB solution aligned with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) standards and organizational requirements.
• Lead the development and configuration of AI Inventory for tracking AI agents, models, and MCP components.
• Implement ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping processes to automate asset visibility and dependency mapping.
• Design integration patterns between ServiceNow CMDB and external systems including Databricks, cloud platforms, and enterprise tools using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Develop custom applications, workflows, and business rules using JavaScript, API, and ServiceNow scripting.
• Establish and enforce CMDB governance policies, data quality standards, and CI lifecycle management procedures.
• Configure and optimize ITOM modules including Event Management, AIOps, and Cloud Management for AI infrastructure monitoring.
• Build custom ServiceNow dashboards, reports, and performance analytics for CMDB health and compliance tracking.
• Develop technical documentation including architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and configuration guides.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and security protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow implementation and architecture experience with proven track record in enterprise deployments.
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM, ITOM modules and CSDM framework alignment.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, API, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow scripting.
• Extensive experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and MID Server configuration.
• Expert knowledge of ServiceNow integration methods including REST/SOAP APIs, Import Sets, and Integration Hub.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNow.
• Experience with data modeling, normalization, CI relationships, and CMDB federation strategies.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
• Proven ability to design scalable solutions and establish platform governance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with leadership, auditors, and cross-functional teams.
Preferred/Nice-to-Have Skills• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, ITOM, or CMDB.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure monitoring and model lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Performance Analytics and Custom Application development.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and SecOps integration.
• Experience architecting multi-instance ServiceNow environments.
