About the Position:
Fluence seeks a Service O&M Supervisor to join the regional team covering operations in the Benelux, Nordics, and Baltic countries. The role will be based in the Netherlands but includes travel across Europe.
Job Description:
1. Remotely manage the BESS system (battery, inverter, transformer, etc.):
a. Identify issues, diagnose the system, and analyse risks.
b. Develop and implement solutions for hardware and software using company platforms, tools and libraries.
c. Plan the maintenance/repair process, including timeframe, spare parts, and documentation.
d. Continuously improve system performance.
2. Coordinate, train and lead the supplier’s (i.e. maintenance subcontractor) team during on-site troubleshooting and maintenance.
3. Interact with customers to meet their needs, create and submit timely reports, and follow up on requests.
4. Ensure safe operations and maintenance activities on-site, prioritising safety as our top priority.
5. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including customers, subcontractors, project management, OEM, product, software and technical teams.
6. Record incidents in the maintenance platforms (Jira, Salesforce), track the progress of solutions and investigations, and ensure they move forward without delays.
7. Manage assets, register in the platform, track historical records.
8. Use a personal company laptop as your main tool.
9. Be familiar with main contractual requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Technical education at MBO level in electrical engineering or similar.
2. At least 2-3 years industry electrical experience.
3. Ability quickly to learn how to use a company hardware, software, digital tools.
4. Valid driver's license (category B), willingness to travel (15% of time) to the sites in Europe.
5. Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
6. Be proactive, creative, team player, get the things done, ready to learn and support others.
7. Able to work on several tasks, coordinating multiple sites.
8. Holder of Dutch residence and physically located in the Netherlands, or holder of EU passport and willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
