About the job:
A Program Manager for Service Management Service Architecture is a senior technical role within BCSS Managed Services (Service Line Operate). Reporting to the Manager - Service Architecture and based in India, you will design end-to-end autonomous operations use cases that leverage AAA capabilities (Automation, Analytics & AI/ML) to create scalable, reusable, and high-value solutions for Ericsson customers. This is a non-24x7 shift role that interfaces with customers, Ericsson Service Delivery Units, MS Networks Portfolio Development, MA/BA teams, MSDMs, Service Owners, EOE Transition & Transformation Managers, SDAP and SLOP Management.
What will you do:
- Lead design and develop high-level, end-to-end architectures for Automation, Analytics and AI/ML (AAA) solutions that align with business objectives and customer needs.
- Translate business and customer requirements into technical solutions, perform use-case requirement analysis and identify opportunities to aggregate scenarios for efficient infrastructure utilization.
- Create scalable, modular, and reusable reference designs and frameworks to streamline repetitive tasks, orchestrate workflows, and enable automated decision-making.
- Define success criteria, validation techniques and ensure repeatability of results across environments; contribute AAA features to roadmaps and EOE objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (delivery, engineering, product, governance) to ensure solution feasibility, optimize analytics workflows and enable operational automation.
- Drive AAA adoption by providing thought leadership, staying current with industry trends and best practices, and evangelizing approaches that improve velocity and reusability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, and support Service Operations Governance both internally and with customers as needed.
You will bring:
- Education: Degree in Engineering (ECE/CSE/IT) or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: 9+ years total with 6+ years across AAA domains
- Technical skills: Strong architectural design capabilities for AAA; proficiency in scripting (Python, Shell, Perl), cloud platforms and services, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- AI/ML & Data skills: Solid understanding of ML concepts and experience with ML tooling (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib/seaborn) and big data platforms (Spark, Hadoop, NoSQL). Familiarity with cloud analytics services (BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse) is desirable.
- Domain knowledge: Experience with telecom operations, 5G Core/cloud environments and ITIL-based service management is advantageous.
- Behaviours & soft skills: Excellent written and spoken English; strong stakeholder management; high accountability and integrity; agile mindset; customer-centricity; ability to innovate, mentor and operate effectively under pressure.
