Lead an Aged Care Kitchen Where Great Food Creates Great Moments

Are you an experienced Servery Supervisor, Catering Manager, Kitchen Manager, Chef Manager, Hospitality Supervisor or Food Services Manager looking for a role where you can lead a team, create memorable dining experiences and enjoy a healthier work-life balance?

At Anglicare, food is much more than nutrition—it brings comfort, connection and joy. We're looking for an experienced hospitality leader to oversee our kitchen and dining services at Brian king Gardens, Castle Hill, ensuring every resident enjoys safe, nutritious and delicious meals served with genuine care.

Permanent Full Time | Brian King Gardens, Castle Hill

Why you'll love this role

Unlike many commercial kitchens, you won't be preparing an extensive restaurant menu from scratch every day. Approximately 30% of the menu is prepared, allowing you to focus on quality, presentation, leadership and delivering an exceptional dining experience without the pressure of a traditional hospitality environment.

This is an opportunity to combine your hospitality leadership experience with meaningful work that genuinely improves people's lives.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and develop a team delivering exceptional kitchen and dining services.

  • Oversee meal preparation, food presentation and service to ensure every resident enjoys a positive dining experience.

  • Manage kitchen operations including ordering, stock control, rostering and food budgets.

  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety Programs, HACCP principles and food safety legislation.

  • Support residents with diverse dietary, allergy, cultural and texture-modified meal requirements.

  • Partner with clinical and lifestyle teams to continually improve menus and resident satisfaction.

  • Coach, mentor and develop your team while fostering a positive food safety culture.

  • Drive continuous improvement across food quality, service standards and compliance.

About you

You're a passionate hospitality leader with a Commercial Cookery qualification (or equivalent), supervisory experience, a commitment to food safety and quality, and a genuine desire to inspire teams while living our values of compassion, respect and excellence.

You'll likely have experience in one of the following roles:

  • Catering Manager

  • Chef Manager

  • Kitchen Manager

  • Food Services Manager

  • Kitchen Supervisor

  • Servery Supervisor

  • Head Chef with leadership responsibilities

You'll also bring:

  • Experience leading kitchen or food service teams.

  • Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and compliance.

  • Experience managing food ordering, stock control and budgets.

  • Confidence leading teams and building positive workplace culture.

  • Experience working with special diets, allergens or texture-modified meals is highly regarded.

  • Commercial Cookery qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable.

If you're looking to take the next step in your hospitality leadership career while making a lasting impact on the lives of older Australians, we'd love to hear from you.
