Servery staff are empowered to deliver high-quality care with confidence, knowing their actions contribute to the wellbeing and dignity of each resident. As a valued Servery Staff at Anglicare Sydney, your role is to create a positive mealtime experience that supports residents’ health, dignity, and emotional wellbeing through attentive service and collaboration with kitchen and care teams.   

With kindness and understanding, you will: 

  • Prepare food and service meals 

  • Set up of dining areas with care 

  • Support dietary needs and meal choices (we’ll guide you) 

  • Keep kitchen areas clean and safe 

  • Bring warmth and dignity to every interaction 

What you’ll bring  
  

Empathy to interact respectfully with elderly residents, attention to detail to follow dietary requirements, and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. You share our organisational values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence, and bring them to everything you do.   

What’s required:  

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check 

  • Current First Aid Certificate 

  • 6 months experience in food service or kitchen  

   

What’s preferred:  

  • Food Handling Certificate 

  • Hospitality or customer service experience 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • A kind, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
