Position Summary:
This internship position will report to the Director of Corporate Strategy and Operations and support a range of competitive intelligence, market analysis, and strategic initiatives across the organization.
This role will conduct rigorous analyses spanning scientific, clinical, competitive, and commercial landscapes to generate actionable insights that inform internal decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical rigor with intellectual curiosity, can synthesize large volumes of complex information into concise strategic insights, and is enthusiastic about leveraging emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools to improve workflows and streamline material generation.

The pay range for this role is $35 - $45 per hour. This role is a short-term engagement that is not eligible for health and welfare benefits. Retirement benefits may be available after completing a set number of hours. Compensation and benefits information is based on Serif Biomedicines's good faith estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future.

Skills Required
- Advanced degree in a life sciences discipline (e.g., biology, biochemistry, chemistry, biomedical engineering)
- PhD (strongly preferred)
- Working knowledge of the life sciences and biopharmaceutical industry, including drug discovery, development, and commercialization
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; collaborative and self-driven approach
- Experience with programming, data science, AI/ML tools, or computational workflows
