About the Role
As an SEO Web Developer, you will:
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to maintain and optimise Verisure websites, ensuring their performance aligns with the latest SEO best practices.
- Design, develop, and implement website pages optimised for search engine rankings, ensuring high-quality, user-friendly experiences.
- Work as the primary liaison between the design and development teams to identify, redesign, and deploy updates that drive both search visibility and conversion rates.
- Troubleshoot technical SEO issues on the website, implementing fixes to ensure optimal performance.
- Partner with our SEO agency to develop and refine strategies for website architecture, content structure, and technical optimisations that enhance rankings.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or similar.
- SEO Knowledge: A foundational understanding of SEO principles, including on-page optimisation, technical SEO, and website performance metrics.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot website issues and implement solutions that align with SEO strategies.
- Work Ethic: A passion for performance-driven environments and a strong alignment with our company DNA.
- Experience: 3-5 years in web development or a related field. Exposure to SEO-focused projects is a strong advantage.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and a curiosity for staying updated on the latest SEO and web development trends.
