Service Center
CSCS TXThe SEO Specialist will aid in maximizing Caliber's organic search presence with a dual focus on hyper-local visibility and emerging AI-driven search landscapes. You will not only manage traditional and local SEO campaigns but also build strategies for Artificial Intelligence Optimization (AIO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
If you are a technical, analytical, and creative marketer who loves geeking out over local citations just as much as optimizing for Large Language Models (LLMs) and Google's AI Overviews, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
Local SEO Mastery: Impact, execute, and scale robust Local SEO strategies across our extensive network of locations. Work with VOC managers to optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP), local citations, directory listings, and push local link-building initiatives.
Next-Gen Search Optimization (AIO, AEO, GEO): Execute our push into the AI search era. Optimize site structure, content formatting, and entity associations to ensure Caliber is the primary recommended brand in generative search engines (e.g., Google AI Overviews, Perplexity) and AI chatbots (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude).
Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on organic performance, local map pack rankings, and generative engine visibility. Translate complex data into actionable marketing strategies.
Tool Utilization: Leverage industry-leading SEO and visibility tools daily to track rankings, conduct competitor analysis, and identify local market opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the content, web development, and broader marketing teams to ensure SEO/GEO best practices are seamlessly integrated into all digital campaigns and site updates.
Continuous Innovation: Stay at the bleeding edge of search algorithm updates, AI developments, and local search trends to keep Caliber ahead of the curve.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 2+ years of dedicated SEO experience, with a proven track record in enterprise-level or multi-location Local SEO. Ideally a Bachelors in Marketing, Technology, Communications or another related field.
Local SEO Expertise: Deep understanding of local ranking factors, GBP optimization, review generation strategies, and local citation ecosystems.
AI/Generative Search Knowledge: Strong grasp of AIO, AEO, and GEO concepts. You should understand how LLMs process information and how to structure data to feed answer engines.
Ideal Experience With Tools:
Proficiency in Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar enterprise SEO platforms.
Strong hands-on experience with Whitespark, LocalFalcon, or similar local SEO tools like BrightLocal.
Experience using emerging AI visibility and tracking tools (e.g., tools tracking SGE/AI Overview presence, entity recognition tools, or custom LLM-tracking setups) is a plus.
Understanding of Google Analytics and website tracking tools
Technical Skills: Solid understanding of technical SEO elements (site speed, mobile optimization, Schema.org markup, crawlability).
Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex SEO/GEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Work Style: Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing independent deep work with in-person collaboration at our Lewisville office.
Caliber uses E-Verify to confirm the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
