About the Role:
As a Manager/ Senior Associate - SEO you will be responsible for aiding in implementing effective SEO strategies to improve a website's organic visibility and ranking. The role involves conducting keyword research, optimizing on-page elements, analyzing site performance, and executing link-building.
What will you do:
- Strong understanding of keyword analysis and identifying right search intent for relevant keywords
- Create comprehensive content briefs for internal SEO writers and the content marketing team at CleverTap.
- Identify and capitalize on content creation opportunities to enhance website visibility.
- Address and resolve historical content duplication issues to improve search rankings.
- Optimize new content upon receipt from writers and assist with WordPress publication.
- Conduct technical SEO audits to identify pain points, suggest enhancements, and drive solutions.
- Work closely with content marketing and website development teams to communicate requirements and execute tasks
- Track SEO performance, analyzing the impact of published content and overall organic search metrics.
- Proactively identify and address content backlogs and unresolved SEO issues.
- Stay up to date with SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and global best practices through case studies.
What we are looking for:
Must have:
- 4-5 years of core SEO experience, either in an agency or in-house.
- Strong grasp of keyword analysis, identifying the right search intent, and optimizing for relevant keywords.
- Proficiency in industry-leading SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Trends.
- Understanding of off-page SEO, including backlinks, outreach, and link-building strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of on-page SEO, from meta-tags, content optimization, and internal linking to image optimization.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, including crawlability, XML sitemaps, redirects, indexation, content duplication, website performance, schema markup, and more.
- Experience with Google Search Console, analyzing its metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
- Familiarity with GA4, navigating dashboards, and extracting key insights to assess SEO performance.
Good to have:
- WordPress publication experience and knowhow of how to navigate the CMS

- Steady growth in organic traffic, driven by data-backed strategies and continuous optimization
- High-quality content optimization, ensuring every page is primed for search visibility and user engagement
- Consistent content optimization output, balancing speed and effectiveness to scale impact
- Proactive technical SEO improvements, resolving site issues to enhance performance, indexing, and search rankings
