About the Role

The SEO/Social Media/Content Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing Alight's online presence. You will be responsible for SEO, social media, and content activities aimed at boosting the organic visibility of Alight and optimizing the company's website.
This new colleague has a deep interest in digital marketing and is looking to make a difference in our overall marketing organization. You bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and excellent communication/writing skills.
Focusing on SEO, the specialist will employ techniques and content strategies to elevate Alight’s online presence in a B2B marketing environment. Additionally, this role will involve collaborating with key stakeholders to coordinate organic social media efforts, ensuring alignment with the Alight brand and maintaining brand integrity across all digital platforms.

Responsibilities

· Improving existing website content and creating new content using SEO techniques and brand guidelines.

· Learning and utilizing AI tools to enhance SEO and social activities.

· Providing suggestions for on-page SEO elements and conducting keyword and topic research.

· Staying updated on the latest developments in technical SEO and suggesting adjustments.

· Producing monthly and quarterly reports for SEO and social media.

· Collaborating with marketing, PR, and product teams to produce organic social media posts.

· Ensuring all social media posts align with corporate standards and values.

· Utilizing excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize website content.

Requirements

· Possess a bachelors or equivalent level of experience or qualifications.

· Be proficient in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, Moz, or similar tools.

· Be familiar with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or other common social media tools.

· Have high proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Be able to write effectively using target keywords and topics to optimize website content.

· Have an understanding and application of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot.

· Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Have a minimum of 2+ years in SEO and social media within a corporate environment.
