The Role

Obsidian Security was founded in 2017 to solve the unaddressed blindspot of SaaS Security. SaaS applications provide the tools employees need to succeed and hold the business’ most critical information. If those tools become unavailable or that data is jeopardized, there is a detrimental impact on the organization.

Obsidian proudly offers the industry's most comprehensive and powerful SaaS defense solution. We are committed to solving the challenge of SaaS Security for our customers as efficiently and effectively as possible.

We’re a passionate team optimizing for impact by solving some of the biggest challenges in cybersecurity today. We listen closely to our customers, iterate quickly, and (over) deliver to delight them. Working at Obsidian means contributing to an industry-leading cybersecurity product in an environment where customer satisfaction, privacy, and data ethics are paramount.

We’re looking for a data and systems driven SEO Manager to scale our organic content efforts. You’ll work alongside a seasoned SEO architect (part-time) who will help define our market strategy and content structure. Your focus will be on execution — building scalable SEO content engines, leveraging AI and automation, and partnering with Product to develop high-quality, high-impact pages.

Responsibilities:

  1. Own execution of the SEO content roadmap with a focus on scalability, accuracy, and performance.
  2. Use AI tools, programmatic workflows, and automation platforms to produce content at scale — without sacrificing quality.
  3. Collaborate with Product and Engineering to integrate unique product data, features, or use cases into SEO content.
  4. Coordinate with the SEO architect on market research, page structure, and keyword targeting.
  5. Manage publishing pipelines and content QA for high-volume article production.
  6. Continuously test, analyze, and optimize pages to improve rankings, CTRs, and organic conversions.
  7. Monitor SEO performance metrics and adjust strategies based on data and SERP shifts.
Requirements:
  1. 4+ years of experience in SEO, with demonstrated success scaling content programs that drive traffic and pipeline.
  2. Strong technical understanding of on-page SEO, structured data, internal linking, and page architecture.
  3. Proficient with AI-assisted content generation tools and programmatic SEO tactics.
  4. Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams to ship scalable, differentiated SEO experiences.
  5. Strong editorial judgment and content accuracy — able to guide writers or tools to deliver trustworthy, valuable content.
  6. Analytical mindset with fluency in tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and analytics platforms.
  7. Bonus: Experience launching SEO programs in technical or SaaS markets.
