Job Description:

We are looking for an Organic growth specialist (focussed on SEO strategies) to lead a pivotal role in enhancing our online visibility through innovative strategies that leverage AI, product insights, and data analytics. The SEO manager would be an operations specialist and strategist rolled into one, who will program manage and work cross-functionally with engineers, analysts, product teams, marketing leads and external agencies to deliver impactful results. 

The ideal SEO Manager for this role

  • Is motivated by new challenges and solving problems, eager to experiment and iterate continuously and drive an impact using new technologies .

  • Understands SEO strategies and has prior experience of working with cross functional teams, preferably in E-Comm or related industries / agencies

  • Has strong communication and collaboration skills 

  • Has an eye for detail and can visualize goals and impact 

  • Is curious and hungry to learn and is a self-starter

  • Is highly collaborative and open to early / late hours IST as and when needed, while collaborating with stakeholders at HQ (Pacific Time)

Key Responsibilities

  • SEO Strategy & Execution

    • Responsible for leading monitoring, operations and experimentation aimed at growing SEO-driven GMV

    • Own the SEO strategy from conception to execution, drive organic traffic growth, improve rankings, and increase conversion rates.

    • Own and continuously groom the SEO roadmap and collaborate with multiple cross functional partners

  • AI Integration

    • Utilize AI tools and technologies to analyze data trends, optimize content, and improve shopper experience on Poshmark . Stay updated on AI advancements in SEO to ensure our strategies are forward-thinking.

  • Program Management

    • Lead cross-functional SEO projects, working with PMs, Design team, engineers, content teams, and external agencies.

    • Create plans, set timelines, and establish measurable KPIs

    • Monitor progress, adjust strategies and communicate updates, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders. 

    • Identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with web development teams to implement effective solutions.

  • Data Analysis

    • Monitor website performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) to track traffic, conversion rates, and other key metrics. Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to refine SEO strategies.

  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

    • Collaborate closely with the Engg, Product and Analytics to develop and implement solutions that deliver the highest impact

    • Be the subject matter expert in SEO, educating internal teams and stakeholders about SEO best practices and emerging trends.

    • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and agencies as needed.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, algorithms, and ranking factors. Strong understanding of HTML/CSS, website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Moz, Ahrefs).

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and present findings to stakeholders.

  • 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, experience in program management, project planning, execution, and stakeholder management.

  • Experience working with SEO tools and a strong track record of improving business metrics through SEO optimisation 

This is a work from office position with presence required at Poshmark Chennai office for 3-4 days of a week.
