Role Summary and Impact

The SEO Senior Director for Latin America will lead the development, commercialization, and regional scaling of WPP Media’s SEO products and services across LATAM. This role is responsible for shaping and scaling a future-ready SEO value proposition across LATAM that helps clients improve organic visibility, search relevance, brand authority, and discoverability across traditional search, social platforms, commerce environments, and emerging AI-driven search experiences.

The role will act as a senior commercial and strategic SEO leader, partnering directly with client teams, and clients to identify growth opportunities, build trust, and convert SEO capabilities into scalable business solutions. This position will also lead and support the evolution of the current SEO team, ensuring the right operating model, governance, and delivery standards are in place to support regional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional SEO strategy across LATAM, ensuring a clear value proposition, scalable service offering, and strong commercial growth agenda.
  • Build, package, and evolve market-relevant SEO products and services across areas such as AI Search/GEO readiness, technical SEO, content authority, local SEO, ecommerce SEO, search experience optimization, and organic growth strategies, leading into revenue generation in light with financial goals established for SEO.
  • Act as a senior SEO advisor for clients, identifying opportunities during strategic conversations and translating them into concrete business proposals.
  • Partner with local WPP Media offices to build a regional commercial pipeline for SEO services, supporting pitches, upselling opportunities, and senior client conversations.
  • Strengthen WPP Media’s SEO offering by connecting organic visibility with business outcomes such as growth, discoverability, conversion, brand authority, and customer acquisition.

Skills and Experience

If this opportunity looks right for you, we are looking for candidates who have:

  • Bilingual: English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in SEO, digital strategy, or digital products, with a strong track record in business growth, client advisory, and service development.
  • Proven experience building, packaging, and commercializing digital products and services across multiple clients or markets.
  • Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, build client trust, and translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams related to search or paid media digital capabilities.
  • Executive presence and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, client leaders, agency teams, and regional leadership.  A builder of teams, proven collaborator.
  • Strong understanding of how AI, generative engines, and changing search behaviors are transforming SEO and organic visibility.
