As an SEO Content Writer on the LoopNet.com, you’ll be a part of a dynamic, motivated team that strives to produce the best content in our industry. This role focuses on creating optimized articles, reports, and guides that resonate with users varying from seasoned commercial real estate (CRE) professionals (investors, brokers, developers) to those getting started in the industry, all while driving organic growth. You’ll take CRE trends and data and transform them into engaging and shareable content.

This position is in office Monday through Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As part of the SEO team, you’ll produce content tailored to commercial real estate audiences (e.g., office space trends, industrial property insights, investment strategies)
  • You’ll engage in data-driven content creation to address key informational needs of our customers.
  • You will work with other teams to ensure a consistent tone of voice is delivered across content experiences.
  • You’ll manage concurrent content projects at a range of stages, from concept through to production and then iterate.
  • You’ll present work to other team members and stakeholders to recruit feedback, iterate and improve, and then publish content and launch changes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, English, Marketing, or related field from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.
  • 2-3 years experience in content writing and familiarity with developing content strategy.
  • Experience with writing for SEO – researching topics using SEO tools, optimizing content, linking, basic understanding of on-page SEO, etc.
  • Proficiency in publishing in CMS platforms.
  • Ability to learn quickly and stay on top of trends across industries – SEO, AI, CRE, etc.
  • Strong editing skills with experience in collaborative editing, pair writing, or similar content editing and quality processes.
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate terminology, trends, and audience (e.g., leasing, property management, investment analysis).
  • Experience working on international sites and with global teams in order to localize content for specific regions.
  • Experience tracking performance of content through analytics tools (GA, Search Console).
  • Strong verbal and written skills communicating ideas, concepts, and designs
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end web programing languages.
  • Familiarity with W3C/WCAG and ADA web accessibility standards.

This position offers a base salary range of $71,000-$97,000, based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
